A day filled with Love: Maanvi’s corner

Hello again everyone,

As you all know, my dad is not updating his blogs because he has become busy in his profession. That’s why I took over his blog for this trip. I am very happy that both my parents took a break from their busy work schedule. They’re lucky to have me as their child because I often relieve their stress.

Day 1 in Srilanka, This is how it went,  after a slight delay in our flight we landed in Colombo airport at 12.30. By the time we left the airport after all the immigration and baggage claim it was around 3pm. Our driver Mahesh uncle was waiting for us at the airport. We stopped at Sha Restaurant near Colombo.

We started for Kandy. Enroute to Kandy we visited Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawala.

When this elephant was bathing, it resembled me having my bath. Even though I’m a tiny girl, my mumma, Ammamma, my 2 care takers will give me a bath. I can understand this mighty girl’s problem.🤭

The government park was already closed as it was 4.50pm. So we visited Millenium orphanage. There we saw how to give a bath to elephants and saw a few elephants tied. It was a good place, we spent around an hour in this beautiful place and started for Kandy.

We at Millenium foundation for elephant orphanage, Pinnawala
You always hurry pappa, Let me know more about Elephants
I wish these cute Elephants were not tied..!

Stay Tuned.. More to come!
