I followed my heart, and it led me to this beach. This is my home, it’s sand will welcome me as my mother’s open arms. The breezes from the ocean stirs my heart, inspires my imagination and brings eternal joy to the soul.
The best and most beautiful things in the world must be felt with heart.
It is a great place to relieve the soul-crushing stress. I sit here quietly & escape the hustle bustle of city life. It instantly eases all the worries I have.
Letting my tyres sink in the sand and swinging my vipers over my front glass, I drive down the empty beach that I am very lucky to have all to myself and enjoy the breeze.
“Happiness is a day at beach with my love.”-Yellowie
There are a lot of reasons why this beach is my favorite place to be..
1. Bright blue skies and blue water of the ocean,
2. The sound of the mighty waves crashing up against the shore
3. As it is a place less explored, the privacy it gives me is the biggest reason for me to love this place a lot.
“For me life is nothing but.. sky above, sand below and you beside.” -Yellowie
I’m very clear in my mind that I’m not gonna share this beauty with anyone else on this planet. To protect its beauty and to save my privacy I never shared it with anyone till now.
“A smile on your face, a shell on my top and sand on my tyres is happiness for me.” – Vader
But today, this is going to change. My boy car-friend my majestic blue ‘Vader’, my favorite car in the whole world, is on his way here to meet me. It’s been 1 month since I’ve met him. I kind of miss him and I can’t wait to make every moment we spend on this beach special..
“Our Love made our life worthwhile.” -Yellowie
Our relationship over the past couple of months has evolved into something so beautiful, something perfect. It’s still difficult sometimes for me to believe that we are perfect together.
A few minutes later, I see him driving toward me, honking cutely. I was circling the beach in joy to greet him.
Yellowie was surprised to see her cousin Miss Briony & Mr. Fierce together and started a conversation with her.
Yellowie & Briony were immersed in conversation..
Mr. Fierce & Miss Briony..
Yellowie: How did you meet prince charming ?
She paused in doubt, choosing her words carefully not to hurt Briony’s feelings.
Briony: “Fierce isn’t my Prince Charming,” She told yellowie.
He’s the jewel of my life He is the only one, Who blows my tyres away He is the only one, I adore He is the only one, who makes me feel happy.
I never thought I would feel this way… I crave for his touchI desire to hear his sweet voice
He is the one I always dream’t of! He is so perfect for me He is my love and happiness I would go anywhere he goes I’m willing to drive on muddy roads for him
He is my true love…
She said this so emotionally that tears started rolling under her wipers..
Yellowie: whoa whoa!! That’s beautiful Briony
But what made you like him so much?
Briony: Fierce and I have similar tastes in almost everything. Including fuels, oils, Tyres etc.,
Mr. Fierce & Miss Briony drowned in nature..
Yellowie: where did you meet him ??
Fierce and I met on a plane. I was traveling from Kualalumpur, Malaysia to London, England for a tour. He was travelling from NY, USA to New Delhi via London. He wasn’t supposed to be on my flight, but was set to fly one day earlier but since he missed his flight, he had to take the next flight, which happened to be mine.
Our seats were in different aisles. I decided to ask a lady car to switch seats with me. In so doing, she may have altered someone’s life forever.😉
We sat next to each other and the rest is history. I was bit tensed about my trip in London as I don’t have any planned Itinerary with metro.
Upon landing in London, Fierce was supposed to go on to New Delhi and I was supposed to go to London city. But we both decided to ditch our plans and took another flight to Paris. We traveled together and we have been together ever since..
Today I’m gonna post about that place which is least explored. And is not even in Telangana Heritage list of monuments. While we were on a road trip to Ramagundam we thought of visiting Hanuman temple but we were lost. After asking the locals for addresses we accidentally discovered this place.
The mother art is architecture. Without an architecture of our own we have no soul of our own civilization. -Frank Lloyd Wright
Andalamma old temple, a late medieval period temple is located in Dharmabad village of Peddapalli district. It is located 39 KM towards East from Karimnagar.
Great buildings that move the spirit have always been rare. In every case they are unique, poetic, products of the heart. -Arthur Erickson
It seems to be the temple and mandapa was constructed during the Qutub Shahi period when Vaishnavism was spreading in the Telangana region. There are no Idols in the temple. It was not at all maintained/worshipped since ages.
It is secluded and is almost deserted.
This temple’s architecture is so unique and beautiful. I hope Archaeological survey of India (ASI) should take over this place and develop it into a tourist destination.
This is one of the best get-aways for all those Karimnagarites. If you are looking for any couple shoot kind of a thing or if you are an architecture lover. Then you can visit this place…
Nearby places to visit are:
1. Buddhist stupa
2. Ramagir fort (Built during Kakatiya regime)
3. Siva temple (Temple built of roughly dressed stone), Peddapalli
4. Siva Trikuta temple, peddapalli
5.Sri Vasavi Andal Ranganatha Swamy Temple
After finishing our Pulmokarn2018 conference in KLE university, Belgaum we headed towards goa. It was a sudden plan and we just boarded a 4.30bus at Belgaum central bus stand to Mapusa, Goa.
The mind of friends are like railway track. they never meet.. but has to go together to keep the friendship alive…..
It was a different experience traveling in an RTC bus on a rainy day through the dense forest and narrow ghat roads with visibility being even less than 10 Meters at certain points! It was an adventurous journey which kept us at the edge of the seat as we didn’t know how the driver is managing to drive in such tough situation. There was a short tea break in the middle of the trip and also many dropping points. It became dark halfway through the journey and by the time we got down at Mapusa it was 9 15 pm, and we were filled with awe while bidding good bye to the bus driver who was very friendly and wondered how he manages to drive on those roads day & night every single day with unpredictable climate.

Soon after getting down we hired Bikes and headed to our prebooked hotel in Calangute. After check-in we soon left to a Sunday night party in Titos at Baga beach. It was a colourful party with many different performers and dj’s. We had a midnight walk at baga beach which was less crowded and peaceful.
This is a throwback picture of my previous trip to Goa in 2013. And this is my all time favorite picture @ Chapora Fort
Next morning we had breakfast at our favourite restaurant casa goana, Calangute road and started for Aguada fort.Since it was drizzling all the time we didn’t take many pics in Goa. We were almost drenched by the time we reached Aguada Fort. We spent some time at Aguada fort appreciating the beauty of the fort and sea waves meeting the walls of the fort.

Then we had lunch at Bom sucesso. And then we bid adieu to goa for now and started our journey back as we had 4 30 pm bus to Hyderabad. Though it was a short trip it was worthwhile to come all the way to Goa and enjoy its beauty in this monsoon. Hence, Goa will never disappoint you even if it’s for a short span.

Tips from my perspective:
1. Take a Bus from belgaum to Panaji and get down at Mapusa if you are planning a trip to the happening places. Ticket price was 105rupees.
2. Dont take Unreliable Taxis to cut down the journey time as the road is not very safe.
Day 1: We started from Coimbatore at around 8:00 AM in the morning then we had a stopover at Pollachi for Breakfast at the popular vegetarian Gowri krishna restaurant. The tiffins here were delicious. Then we started to Anamalai Masani Amman temple which is located at Annamalai Hills, in Coimbatore district, enroute Topslip.

Masani Amman Temple: “Goddess of Justice”
This temple is believed to answer the prayers of the devotees in 3 weeks! Masani Amman Temple, also known as Annamalai Masani Amman Temple is located around 25 kms from Pollachi in Tamil Nadu.
The temple is dedicated to Goddess Arulmigu Masani Amman who is believed to be a ‘Goddess of Justice’.
Interesting Stories behind the temple:
According to an interesting legend, during the Sangam Era, Annamalai was ruled by a chief called Nannan. He had a big mango grove and was so possessive of it that he appointed check post officials to guard the trespassers. It so happened that one day a woman was bathing in the Aliyar River and a mango came floating to her in the waters. Unable to resist tasting it, she bit it. This was reported to the ruler and the innocent woman was produced before him. She pleaded that she did not steal the mango. Nonetheless, she was executed. Angered by the unjustifiable ruler, her kins killed him in a battle. People then started worshiping her to honor her martyrdom and soon a temple was built for the same. Since the lady was killed, the deity was called as Shmasani, which in Sanskrit means ‘graveyard’. Later, the deity came to be called as Masani.
Furthermore the temple is said to bless barren women with children and pregnant women with good health..
The Deity of Masani Amman Temple, is one who grants justice to her strong believers. The 15ft long idol is in lying position with four hands, each holding snake, trident, skull and drum respectively. The Neethi Kal, or the Stone of Justice, is a stone that is present in the temple that is believed to have unique powers. Devotees who lost their belongings or were cheated in business by their enemies etc. come here seeking justice. They grind red chillies with the stone and pray. This is believed to free them from all kinds of evil in life.
Then we headed to Topslip, which is at a distance of 30 kms from Pollachi & 76kms from Coimbatore,.
Topslip is the Tiger Reserve Forest in small part of Annamalai Tiger Reserve, which is separated from the Nilgiri Hills by Palghat Gap in north. It got its name during British era, as lots of its timber slipped down to the plains below. It is famous for the elephant camp, wildlife safaris, pleasant weather and beautiful views of Annamalai Hills.
Drive through the forest was very pleasant.
Forest Department organizes elephant safaris and jeep rides into the sanctuary. A four hours trek around the forest along with a guide is also available here. Unfortunately due to some issues, forest department had temporarily closed elephant safari & jeep safari.
Parambikulam: Well maintained Tiger reserve
So we drove to Parambikulam which is just 4 Kms from Topslip. Parambikulam Tiger Reserve is a well protected ecological portion in the Nelliampathy – Anamalai landscape of the Southern Western Ghats in India. It is located in the Palakkad District of Kerala.
One has to pay fees for park entry ticket & cross this forest check point in order to get an access to the tiger reserve.
That’s me at the entrance
Considering its biological richness, abundance of wildlife and landcape beauty makes Parambikulam Tiger Reserve one of the most attractive places in the entire stretch of Western Ghats.
Journey itself was a destination..
Since we went on a day trip we took Van safari which was Rs. 200 per head. They wont start the trip until they’ve minimum of 20 passengers. So we had to wait for around 30 mins for the other passengers to gather.
What did we spot?

For me the taste of street food is always better than a fancy meal at a fine dining restaurant. Street Food culture in Shillong is very vibrant. The roads of Shillong are filled with colorful carts serving special foods. Any dish on this street is packed with an abundance of flavors at a minimum price.
Well!! coming to Police street, this is the biggest market place and is located in the heart of the city. It is filled with street shops selling dresses, bags, umbrellas, woolen clothes, accessories etc. From traditional hand looms to the multinational brands, from budget hotels to the luxury hotels, from street foods to the fancy expensive meals etc., This is really a good place to shop and it is a paradise to all the foodies..
Busy making Kebab..
Mouth watering Kebabs.. I’m missing them already 😉
